We drilled out the bottom of the pot, so that the plant could grow into the soil underneath, so in years to come the feature specimen wont get too root-bound and get under stress from continually drying out.

Ilex Lago Emerald Prince (Topiary Columns) - these holly specimens from the Topiary Different range have been trained as tapered columns, and their darkest olive green foliage sets off nicely in front of this cream coloured homestead .This particular holly does not have prickly foliage like alot of its cousins in the same family,and in the winter months the plants are covered in the brightest red holly berries, which look amazing!!. Ilex Lago is extremely tough to all the elements,including wind,drought, frost and makes an outstanding specimen in a container either side of the front door.These particular plants in the photo are underplanted with Star Jasmine, and the combination makes a beautiful easy care garden, for 12 months of the year.

Podocarpus Gracilior Topiary Cloud specimens planted as a grouping in front of this beautiful home, in Hamilton.Each plant was uniquely different,in its shape and the clouds that were on the end of each branch.The topiary cloud specimens from the Topiary Different plant range provided a real focal point in this garden, and each specimen was a piece of "living sculpture".

JUNIPERUS KAIZUKA TOPIARY BALLS - these beautiful topiary different specimens were planted in a narrow garden,in front of a plain wall.This wall was very visible for guests arriving at the property,and what a difference these plants made to the overall look ,no other plants were necessary ,because all these topiary needed was a setting that was very plain and simple to show them off to their best.

Topiary Espaliered against a solid concrete wall, provides an effective method of growing your citrus tree in a confined space and extremely attractive with fruit and flowers for most of the year.

Topiary Pleached - these trees are each growing in a trough butted together and forming a pleached hedge, giving more privacy. The troughs were used because the trees were on a raised wooden deck, so no opportunity to plant in the ground. The lateral branching will eventually full in the gaps and create a solid hedge. They are underplanted with rosemary; a wonderful combination.

These topiary columns make a formal and effective look to this showroom entranceway.

Topiary standards make wonderful feature specimens in troughs on the deck. They perform outstandingly well, in windy exposed sites.

Topiary standard. Not very common to see GOLD NUGGET grafted onto a standard! This plant makes the most awesome container specimen on the patio. Masses of yellow flowers and extremely fragrant. No need to go to Bali when you have this on your patio!

These matching specimens in containers look classy in front of this urban home. This holly performs exceptionally well in containers and responds well to trimming. Extra shiny emerald green foliage makes it a very attractive plant.

Topiary column. A very good tapered, columnar specimen for the larger property. It’s a redwood selection that grows very compact and will make a real feature lining a driveway. Responds well to trimming, so you can easily keep it at desired height and width. Extremely hardy.
